Gonzalo is an architect with a Master's degree in Design. With over 20 years of professional experience in Chile and the United States, he has been able to blend the profession of architecture with a specialization in Design and has developed various interdisciplinary projects, with a particular interest in technology. Manufacturing methods, materials, and the systems that control them have always been a fundamental part of his work as an architect, and he has delved deeper into them through his academic endeavors.

In his early years as an architect, Gonzalo worked for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in San Francisco, California, where he worked on large-scale mixed-use projects in Asia and the United States. Upon his return to Chile, he collaborated with Alejandro Aravena as an associate architect on projects in Europe and Central America.

Since 2012, he has embarked on his independent practice, where he has developed projects of various types and scales, including industrial, residential, retail, and workspace projects, among others.

Currently, his architectural firm operates in Chile and the United States, where he and his partners have developed projects ranging from residential to public spaces. In the academic field, Gonzalo has served as a postgraduate professor at the DesignLab of the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI) and in the Master's program in Integrated Cities at the Universidad de Viña del Mar (UVM). In parallel, he has built an extensive career in computer-generated imagery (CGI) production, working with clients worldwide.
